That's about it, any other software I tried was very limited, too complicated or did not support the correct file formats. TYPE/ALPHA/SPECULAR MAPS PREVIEW ( ), ( ) and ( ). gif, really nice tool :)Ī NICE COLOR SCHEME TOOL Just in case you need it :) LICECAP Turns a portion of your screen into an animated. qb for that, ok? :P Remember to check for new versions, the last one has easier color picking and an option to disable the purple light built in. vox (aka slab) for export may change your colors as well, so just use. vox format, it's not the same format accepted for Trove. qb will match colors with the current palette and lead to color inaccuracies. vox(aka slab) when possible as importing. See ( ) to orient your weapon correctly, CS objects need to face the opposite side. You can load a custom color palette and that's pretty nice. MAGICAVOXEL Another free editor in development, I find it really fast for building, has more tools than Zoxel and while I still prefer the latter for ease of use, I tend to use both right now. It has limited features compared to Qubicle, but it's in development and frequently updated, take an eye on the blog for new versions! I found the axises a bit confusing, this is how you should orientate your weapon, in case you are as confused as I was: (red grid on the right), cornerstone objects should face the opposite side. But, if you want a free voxel editor, I also recommend MagicaVoxel. The Stoneheart version is less limited, can import any format and export in. The Devs from Trove actually use Qubicle, a very good voxel editor, but the price ranges from 15 to 60 (40 at the moment) and even a 200 package.(160 at the moment). Unfortunately the free version cannot export files and you won't be able to submit your work. QUBICLE It's the software the developers are using, works well and has a lot of tools.
